Glenn Maxwell scored an unbeaten century in just 47 balls to help Australia chase down the target of 223 runs in the third T20I.
Maxwell’s 47-ball century was previously held by Erin Finch and Josh English for the fastest century.

Further Maxwell also set the record for most centuries in a men’s T20 match which was previously held by Rohit Sharma with his previous T20 century against India which was scored in Bangalore in 2019.

With the strong foundation of Travis Head entering the crease in the final over of the Powerplay, Maxwell took charge and struggled to connect with the ball and shouldered the responsibility of pacing the innings.
